Negation with PA in Haitian Creole
Use pa before the verb phrase to make a Haitian Creole sentence negative.

1. Grammar focus #
The negative marker pa usually comes before the verb or before the tense/aspect marker. It is much simpler than English do not / does not / did not.
Pronunciation guide: pa = pah; keep it clean and short.
2. Rule #
Use pa before the verb phrase: Mwen pa konnen. With another marker, place pa before the marker: Li pa ap vini, often contracted in speech and writing as Li p ap vini.
